Ice Cream Cake

My baby turned 3 years old

My youngest turned 3 years old. She loves the water, so it only seemed fitting to have her party at the pool. Our public pool has a great area for non-swimmers, which included the perfect kid slide. We were at the pool for about 2 hours and then headed back to our house for some RIBS!!

My grandparents, sister-in-law, aunt, uncle, and brother traveled from a far, to enjoy the party and the heat. Did I mention the temperature was 115 degrees that day.

Everyone had a great time!!

Early birthday for Brother

Arizona Art Museum

All I can say is that it was not age appropriate for my children. We used the culture pass, so it was free. The girls had an experience. I think we will stick to the Children's museum!!

New Toy

Fourth of July, we headed to Heber, AZ. It is about 1 1/2 hours north of Mesa, up in the mountains and much cooler. This would be our maiden voyage with our new 5th wheel. We would be joining another couple and their toy hauler.

Just as we got the 5th wheel set up, a rain storm brought a downpour. We headed inside for some seat work and crafts. It lasted for about 45 minutes, but the best part was all the mud puddles left by the rain. The girls put on their mud boots and preceded to jump and play in all the puddles and mud. Daughter #1 played neatly in the mud, unlike daughter #2 which sat in the mud and played happily.

One day we went geocaching and found some amazing hieroglyphics.

It was a great 1st trip with the 5th wheel, cannot wait to take it out again! The girls loved having their own bunk beds in the back.

Jeep Camping

This is Daddy's new toy. Dear Daughter could not waiting to go "jeeping" with dad. He planned a Father/Daughter jeeping camping trip. They went with 5 other vehicles up to the top of Four Peaks. It was about 4 hours to the top. Along the way they saw a rattlesnake, turtle and wild horses. Dear daughter had fun camping in the "small tent" with dad!!
